Turquoise
Turquoise [CuAl6(PO4)4(OH)8*5(H2O), Hydrated Copper Aluminum Phosphate] is another gem mineral that is found in north east Iran,  Afghanistan,
eastern Australia, China, Tanzania as well as the south west U.S. The common blue color of turquoise changes to green above 480 degrees
Farenheit. The color can also be affected by oils, loss of natural water content, or other harsh environmental elements. Typically turquoise contains
a matrix which adds brown, dark grey, black or other colors (pure blue is rare). The name turquoise means "Turkish stone" due to the trade route
that it was brought through to Europe. The cabochons are photographed in a space of 2 x 2 1/2" on 1/4" squares. Roll over picture for pricing.
