Paul Graybeal started Moonlight Gemstones in 1997. He was bitten by the rock bug in the late 1980s looking for agates south of Alpine, Texas. Since then he taught himself how to cut and shape rock (lapidary) and a jewelry making class at Sul Ross State University. Since then Paul has learned how to make many different types of jewelry over the years in silver. Paul has also taught a several apprentices over the years, who have become accomplished jewelry makers themselves.
